It is just so cold outside. It is amazing to me that not too long ago it was 60 degrees out and we were not wearing heavy coats. Now Cade and I are not even going outside because it is below zero. As Curtis said this morning, as soon as you go outside your nose hairs freeze. I could not be an Eskimo!!
I was thinking that I did not blog about Wrigley moving out. We left our home on December 29. We took him to Curtis' parents to watch while we were out of town, and in just hours from our departure a neighbor's friend came over and had great interest in Wrigley. So Wrigley has a new owner, Candy, and her boyfriend, Stephen really was the one who took the most interest in Wrigley. He has had viszlas in the past and recommended Wrigs to Candy. So he has a nice new home in the country where he can run and play. His new name is Rigby (I was very sad that she changed his name.) I know that he was not fit to have in our home anymore, but I feel like I failed as a pet owner that we had to give him away. Our home and life circumstances were just not suitable with what Wrigs needed. So hopefully we will hear updates here and there. I did hear that his first big outing with people will be in just a few weeks with Candy to a gunshow. We will see how that goes :) So here is the last pic I have of our beautiful dog.
We have been spending many hours indoors because of the cold weather. Cade enjoys helping me cook and bake! We also have been using our imaginations as we use tins as drums, and make many animals (that don't look like those animals) out of play-doh.
We have been playing a lot of baseball and basketball inside, as well. We also have a great game we play on the stairs with all of the balls we have!
Cade continues to make more and more discoveries of communication everyday. This morning I think that he said chair and juice at least 100 times in one hour! He now knows how to say blocks, stairs, basketball, doll, tractor, shoe, truck, baseball, bed, hello, blanket, movie, snake, turtle, whisk, and so many more. 
Reading books is definately a favorite, but it doesn't last long. We try out best!
He loves watching the movie, The Jungle Book; and especially enjoys the elephants marching. And we can not forget BOZ, toddler-made movies by Family Life. He runs around the house saying, "Boz, Boz, Boz, . . . ." The series combines learning and faith, with many songs.
He has also been trying on more and more hats. He has slowly been making progress in enjoying hats. But he will now where an army helmet he has,

Grandma Glenna has given Cade a number of puppets and he loves when they play basketball or baseball with him. In the picture at the top, Cat is playing basketball with Cade. He loves when Dog dribbles the basketball, and then Cade follows what Dog does - Simon Says!
Cade finished his breathing treatments up this last week. We still have a green gooze filled nose, which I don't think will go away until Spring. So we will continue to use at least 10 tissues a day. We have gone through two boxes since Christmas - yuck! Though Cade is laughing in the picture below with his breathing treatment, we are glad that they are done!
