We knocked day three out of the park at Disneyland and hit so many rides! The extra hour we had from staying on Disney Property was golden!! We started at the non-Fast Pass Matterhorn ride because the line for this ride is always HUGE. We waited a bit, but hardly at all.
Dumbo! Joel and Daddy got one elephant, Cade got one to himself, and Callie and I rode in our elephant leading them all!
Carousel! Daddy and Callie rode one Neigh (Callie couldn't say horse yet, so she called them neighs!), Cade and Joel each got their own, and Mommy was the photographer!
On to the Tea Cups!
On our way to It's A Small World, Joel spotted Captain Hook walking to his spot for the day. We quickly ran to him and got a picture with him! Yipee another character!
It's A Small World! No wait . . . we jumped right on the boat! This was my Grandma Opal Bents' favorite ride!
We headed to Frontierland next! The boys rode on the wooden roller coaster while Callie and I waited. Then we all headed to Pirates of the Caribean! A little wait, but not bad. The park was starting to fill up and we were scurrying to any ride we could!
Winnie the Pooh!
The boys and I went back to Big Thunder Railroad to use our Child Swap option while Daddy and Callie strolled around so she could rest.
When we got off of the railroad, we saw Jesse. Unfortunately we caught her at the last moments of her time so we didn't get to say hi, but we did get a picture with her in the background!
The boys did Splash Mountain and then we found a place to eat looking out to Tom Sawyer Island! It was starting to heat up!
Time for Mommy and the boys to hit Splash Mountain!
The crowds were growing so we decided to head over to Tom Sawyer Island to get away a bit. The boys enjoyed the caves and running a bit. We were getting hot so we decided to start to head back to the hotel for a rest before our evening fun. We knew we would not be back at Disneyland so it was hard to say goodbye. We did get to go on so many rides so we were feeling fulfilled, but it would always be fun to stay longer.
A train ride before we headed out of the park.
Look how hot they are!!
We tried ToonTown but there were so many people and the sun was beating down. We stayed for about five minutes before we decided to head to the monorail.
Wait, we still had a Child Swap pass for Mommy and the Boys to hit the Matterhorn. The boys loved that this was one of the first roller coasters at Disney.
And we couldn't leave without trying driving a car at Utopia. Unfortunately they wouldn't let Mommy and Callie go. The boys had fun, but we were definitely HOT!
Goodbye Disneyland!
