January 30th

On Saturday, January 30th we enjoyed baking an angel food cake in preparation for Tori’s birthday! We enjoyed celebrating in the evening with the Anderson’s! 

We also worked in Callie’s 1st grade Valentine box! We covered it with white and red paper. We then cut our hearts from construction paper and wrote Biblical attributes of love. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not boast. God is love. Love never ends. Love does not envy. We had so much fun working together and reflecting on God’s live together as we created. 

And our evening ending with Callie reading and a wrestling match on Mom and Dad’s bed! And thankfully smiles!! 

Back Home!

Dad and Mom made it back home before a big snow storm rolled in. The snowflakes started falling as we pulled into Pop and Grandma’s driveway in Wyanet. God’s perfect timing. 

The kids had a fun weekend with Pop and Grandma. Callie and Grandma did some painting together. The kids took the Wii to Wyanet for the weekend and enjoyed Wheel of Fortune with Pop and Grandma. 

Once the snow started falling it didn’t stop and we got a snow day on Tuesday. Mom was so happy to have an extra day at home before going back to school! We enjoyed some sledding over at the little high school hill. We have to steer clear of the dumpsters but it is the best hill we have so we make the most of it!
