Happy Easter!

Our life has been filled with many moments as we continue to wait for spring. Cade will not wait and begs to go outside anytime he passes by our dining room window or our back door. He sees his basketball hoop and his turtle sandbox and can not stand being inside one more minute. "Outside," he begs. He runs over to the door and says, "shoes, coat," and he is ready! So even though it has been cold, he have been out playing basketball ("hoop" as Cade says), passing the soccer ball, playing in the turtle sandbox, pushing the shopping cart, wagon rides, and even stroller rides when we are done exploring our neighbor's yard and bird bath.

Cade has also been working on his fine motor skills - stickers, coloring, play-doh, puzzles. Though these activities last only 5 minutes at a time, we still continue to try to have quiet activities.

Cade is really enjoying spending time reading. We can sit for over 20 minutes at night reading books. His favorites include, "Curious George Plays Baseball," "Where the Wild Things Are," "Frog eats Lunch," "Go, Dog, Go," "The Digginst Dog," and "Hop on Pop." Many more I am sure will come and go from this list.

We spent Easter Sunday at church, Grandma Bev's and Pop's house, and our home. We had a Easter breakfast at 8am at church, which we enjoyed greatly. By the time church was to start, Cade was ready to go home. Daddy was preaching, so we had to stay and enjoy this special day. Cade went and played in the nursery and was really ready to go by 12pm. With a little car ride for relaxation, we then headed over to Pop and Grandma's for some yummy ham. We tried to have an Easter egg hunt, but Cade was not too interested (so maybe next year!) Onward to home for a great nap and some relaxation time!

So we hope that you had a great Easter Sunday! May you know the power of Christ's death, and the importance of this resurrection day.
