Happy Thanksgiving PBC Family!

We had a great PBC Family Thanksgiving!  We had a special surprise with Tim Bachelor bringing some balloons for the kids!  They all went crazy and it made the evening a lot of fun!  What a joy we had celebrating God's faithfulness to our church family in this last year.  We are blessed.

Mommy Callie!

I caught this special moment this morning.  I love this girl.  She is something sweet.  She is going to be something amazing.  She is a gift!

Silly Days!

A little morning sticker craft from Mrs. Pam Tudor.  Callie got this special sticker book from Pam for her birthday!  She decorated the pumpkin with funny stickers!

A morning swing ride with Minnie!  Look . . . we are not wearing any coats!  The weather is just beautiful!

November 8

We voted today!  What a day in America's history.  America voted for Donald Trump to be our president.  Callie and I went together to vote!

Today, Daddy got a new truck!  We didn't get a picture!  Daddy finally got his dream truck - Chevy Silverado!  We are very excited for him!  We all got to ride in Daddy's truck to go to the basketball game in Dalzell.  Cade played in the A and B games.  He is learning more each game.

What a supportive big sister!  She loves her brother so much and wants to be walk in his steps!

Bedtime reading to Hairs the Cat!  Callie was reading Spot to Hairs!

Special Swing!

We couldn't let the beautiful fall weather escape without another walk to the park!  When we made it to the park, we discovered they got the Mommy & Me Swing installed.  Callie and I enjoyed swinging together for at least 15 minutes.  We looked at each other while we went back and forth and back and forth, and sang with each other while we went back and forth and back and forth.  What a fun new piece of equipment!  What a fun special girl!

Celebrating Grandma Bev!

We celebrated Grandma's birthday during Sunday lunch, November 6th.  It was a day after her special day, so I am sure she was a bit sad we could not all be together on her birthday.  We did our best to honor her with a special meal and a special cake.  Don joined us in celebrating.  Grandma even gave a special piano lesson during her birthday party!  Happy 65th birthday Grandma Bev.  You mean more to us than you will ever know.  You love us in so many ways that we know and do not even know.  Thank you for always standing beside us, supporting us, caring for us, and loving us.  Happy Birthday!

Goodbye Trees!

The weather is unbelievable for November, so we had to get outside to play after school!  Yes, did you see the short sleeves?!  We had two of our trees in our backyard taken down today, so our backyard got a bit torn up.  We were attempting to avoid the mud during our backyard kickball game!  We have a beautiful backyard and we are going to miss our trees.  Hopefully it will still continue to be a wonderful place this next summer even without the shade!  We are so blessed!

First Game As A PCA Eagle - November 1st

Cade played his first game as a PCA Eagle at St. Louis School on November 1st.  We found a pair of red Nike basketball shoes at Goodwill which seem to be working well for him, and got him a pair of sport glasses that he loves.  I think his normal glasses would have been broken in his first play on the court.  He is so aggressive and gives his all!  He had a great time.  He played in the B (7th grade) and C (6th grade) games.

Happy Trick or Treating!

We went out for some Trick or Treating fun on October 31st!  We had two cowboys, one Supergirl, and two Cubs superfans in our party!  We visited a few homes in our neighborhood, Miss Ruth Ekloff at Greencroft Senior Living Facility, and a few friends around town.  It is always fun to visit and see special friends on this evening!  The kids have fun, and so do us adults!

Church Fall Festival!

We enjoyed a fun Fall Festival at church on October 30th!  Kids dressed up as Bible Characters and we had different stations with games!  The kids earned tickets in which they could pie Pop, Daddy, Pastor Justin, or Coach Bob in the face!  It was pretty fun!  At the end of the game time we had a special magician come and share some basic magic tricks of fun!  Our David, Goliath, and little lamb had a wonderful evening!  What a joy to have a church family who is so caring and willing to invest in the next generation!

First Grade Cooks!

The first graders made a delicious batch of pumpkin monkey bread together!  They have so much fun with Mrs. Wolbrecht!

Playtime with Hans!

Playtime with Hans!  Our neighbors have a wonderfully trained German Shepherd who is a joy to play with.  Terry and Nancy have blessed our kids with the opportunity to visit Hans at almost anytime.  They allow the kids to play with Hans and practice playing "fetch" with him.  What a joy to have a trustworthy neighbor and dog!

Pioneer Day!

Cade's class was having a no electricity day in 4th grade to help understand a bit more of the pioneer life!  Mrs. Odell, Grandma, also encouraged the students to dress up in the pioneer look.  Cade was really excited for his Thursday at school!

October 25 - Deer!

Daddy went out for a few hours on the afternoon of October 25th and came home with a buck!  He had a nice shot just a few minutes after he sat down in his tree stand.  The weather has been so warm so he took it to the locker to be processed!  Yippee, we have meat!  Congratulations Curtis!

Birthday Lunch with Friends!

We had a fun time eating at the Pizza Hut buffet with our friends for lunch!  Callie got to share her flower cupcakes and her friends brought a few gifts.  She was so excited!  Minnie Mouse, from Carson and Mia, received quite the ride home from the party!

Silly Birthday Girl!

Smiling with her Pink Flower Cake with her pink shirt and pink birthday bow on!  Happy 3rd Birthday Callie Mae Odell!

Birthday gifts from Grandma and Pop!

She has her own PINK kitchen!  Happy 3rd Birthday Callie girl!
