Cade is showing Daddy the Valentine he made him at Play Group. It is a handprint of Cade's own hand. Cade loves looking at it and says, "Hand, hand, hand."
Cade is talking soo much. I can not even tell you all of the words he says because he seems to attempt to say everything. He does have the words that he says everyday at least 50 times - please, thank you, chair, basketball, cheese, tiger, juice, milk (no), Mommy, Daddy! He also will says hair, hand, toe, eye, ear, knee, leg, belly, cherrie, meat, truck, baseball, football, and church quite often, as well! We have recently gotten into reading books before naps and bed, so he loves to say "book" now. And don't forget that he now loves to say his own name, "tade", as he says! Simply put, he is a chatter box, as well as a singer (This Little Light of Mine and Twinkle Twinkle are two favorites!)!!
We have been rotating the toys often because we have been inside so much lately! Cade has become very skilled in putting his blocks together. He is into putting together the same color of blocks and same size blocks. Of course once Mommy gets a few blocks together, Cade enjoys tearing them out of my hands!
Cade also enjoys playing with play-doh. We don't play with it many times a day, but a few times of week helps our imaginations work. We like to make snakes, turtles, trees, balls, and use the cookie cutters to make stars and hearts. He has gotten into using a knife to cut the play-doh as well.
We don't spend very much times coloring anymore, but placing stickers on anything that is close by. We recently discovered the belly is a great place for stickers, as well as the forehead! Cade doesn't like to leave the stickers on paper, but enjoys taking them off and on as many times as possible.
This evening Cade ate a significant portion of vegetables - the first time in months! He enjoyed the peas in our chicken pot pie, though he wouldn't eat the chicken, the peas were perfect! So we were quite excited. We will have to see if it was a fluke or if we might have some consistency!
He is also enjoying saying CHEESE, everytime we get the camera or the camera-phone out. And after we take the picture, he respons with "Tade," desiring to see himself on the camera. So much fun!
We hope that you and yours are doing well! God bless you!
